About This Event

The emphasis of so many meals is on the food, but at The School of Life, we know that what truly makes an occasion memorable is the conversation.

This is a chance to have a delicious meal in company where the emphasis is squarely on meeting new people and getting into profound conversations about the things that really matter: our work and love lives, our sorrows, our goals and our hopes for the future.

Leave behind the usual superficial chat in order to connect at depth with other members of our community. There will be no questions about weekends or weather and only enquiries that cut to the core of what it means to be human. By responding to some highly unusual and counter-intuitive prompts, you’ll find yourself engaging in the best kind of conversation with strangers. The evening will be facilitated by The School of Life’s philosopher-in-chief John Armstrong.
