About the Session
Most businesses run into problems not because of a lack of technical know-how, but because of how we connect – or disconnect – from each other. While a traditional view of work may see our emotional selves as best left ‘at home’, in reality our emotions have a direct impact on productivity, commerciality, and our ability to achieve business goals. Enhanced emotional intelligence helps us to better manage ourselves and others, to solve problems, to communicate more effectively and harmoniously and to be more disciplined and effective in goal pursuit and attainment . It’s little wonder then that over 70% of employers value ‘EQ’ over ‘IQ’.
- Recognise what emotional intelligence is and the behaviours associated with it.
- Identify the benefits of building an emotionally intelligent workplace.
- Enhance self-knowledge and take a measure of our emotional intelligence, with tips and tools on how to improve.
- Unlock strategies to nurture emotional intelligence both individually and as a team.
- Tackle challenges relating to emotional intelligence in a responsible and effective way.
- Learn how to manage emotions more effectively at work.
