Whether you’re leading a meeting, pitching an idea, or addressing a crowd, this in-depth, highly engaging and practical one-day workshop equips you with the skills to overcome the many barriers and judgments we face when mastering the art of presenting.

Presenting often feels intimidating because it asks us to trust our voice and connect authentically with an audience — both daunting tasks. This workshop equips you with the tools to overcome self-doubt, manage audience dynamics, and communicate with impact. Through expert guidance, practical exercises, and a supportive environment, you’ll learn how to craft engaging messages, handle nerves, and present with clarity and confidence.

Duration: 1 day from 9:30 to 17:00, including a delicious catered lunch.

In this session we will:

  • Unpack the term ‘presenting’ and explore the different ways in which we present daily in our lives (consciously versus unconsciously).
  • Explore the more unhelpful hang-ups of presenting and consider: What if I actually enjoyed it?
  • Discover the art of confident presenting skills, rooted in self-awareness and knowing our audience.
  • Play with the role of body language in presenting and how it can help and hinder our message.
  • Practice how to read and understand your audience to bring connection in even the most challenging of settings.
  • Try out techniques and tips for improving presentation skills in ways that feel authentic to you and gain insight into what others think of your presentation style

 

Michelle Schechter

Michelle Schechter began her career in Global Brand for LinkedIn where she was known for creating award-winning video content, and has since worked as a storyteller and coach across advertising and entertainment. Her creative collaborations have been featured in Variety, The New York Times, Time Out New York, The Independent and at the Festival de Cannes, and have won awards such as Red Dot, Corporate Design Preis and iF Design Award as well as D&AD, Peabody and PGA Innovation Award Shortlist. She was a judge for the World Championships of Improv Powerpoint and holds a BSc from Northwestern University and a Masters in Arts from LAMDA.
